Von Hardenberg becomes InterManager President

Sebastian von Hardenberg, CEO of Bernhard Schulte Shipmanagement (BSM), is the new President of the industry association InterManager.

Von Hardenberg was elected by the members of the InterManager Executive Committee in London and succeeds Mark O’Neil, CEO of Columbia Group, who has served as President for the past four years.

An experienced negotiator, Mr. von Hardenberg has been a strong advocate for the members of InterManager and the ship management sector and was instrumental in discussions with the European Union on the potential impact of the EU ETS and FuelEU.

“I am honored to have been elected President of InterManager and pledge to strengthen global partnerships and find forward-looking solutions to the challenges we face,” he said.

Sebastian von Hardenberg is a lawyer and joined the Schulte Group in 2005. From 2015, he was CFO of BSM before being appointed CEO at the beginning of the year.

The new Vice President is Raal Harris, Chief Creative Officer of Ocean Technologies Group and One Ocean. Raal is a long-standing member of InterManager and has been an active member of the Board of Directors for ten years.
