Scandlines, the ferry shipping company, has appointed a new CEO to replace Carsten Nørland and a new Chief Financial Officer.

Eric Gregoire is the new CEO at Scandlines, with Mikael Koch Jensen taking over as Chief Financial Officer. Eric Gregoire succeeds Carsten Nørland as CEO, who replaced the long-standing head of shipping, Søren Poulsgaard Jensen, in September 2021. Nørland left the shipping company in February 2024, and COO Michael Guldmann Petersen has since led the company as interim CEO. [ds_preview]

Together, Gregoire, Koch Jensen and Guldmann Petersen, who will continue as COO, will form Scandlines’ Management Board. Gregoire will take up his position in July 2024. He comes from a position as CEO of Goodpack in Singapore.

“Scandlines is well positioned for the future as an innovative and competitive provider of maritime transport between Germany and Denmark. Eric Gregoire brings the necessary commercial and international experience to further optimise Scandlines’ business processes – and not least to ensure an excellent customer experience,” says Vagn Sørensen, Chairman of the Supervisory Board of the shipping company.
