Ground-breaking ceremony for Everllence's new headquarters

Everllence moves from Copenhagen to Roskilde

As the headquarters of Everllence (formerly MAN Energy Solutions) in Copenhagen are no longer up to date, the company has begun construction of a new site.

The project “The Valley” was launched with a ceremonial laying of the foundation stone in Roskilde, Denmark. It is a joint venture between Everllence and Volkswagen Immobilien, a wholly owned subsidiary of Volkswagen AG.

The decision to relocate was a strategic one, as the site in Copenhagen needed to be modernized. According to Everllence, “The Valley” offers room for growth – both in terms of personnel and production capacity.

Everllence opens a new chapter

The ceremony was attended by members of Everllence’s Executive Board and numerous guests, including Uwe Lauber, CEO of Everllence; Hardy Brennecke, Managing Director of Volkswagen Immobilien; Bjarne Foldager, Head of Two-Stroke Business and Country Manager Denmark at Everllence; and Tomas Breddam, Mayor of Roskilde.

Uwe Lauber said: “Today’s event marks a historic milestone in the development of Everllence. By breaking ground on this exciting project, we are laying the foundation not only for a new campus, but also for a new chapter in the history of our company. We owe a lot to our current facilities in Denmark, but they were not designed for the future we envision. This campus creates an atmosphere for excellence and is tailored to the specific needs of our people, our technologies and our decarbonization goals. The future starts here – and it starts now.”

“The Valley” is being built on the site of a former gravel pit, 40 kilometers west of Copenhagen, and will comprise a building complex of 70,000 m². The plans include office space for at least 1,500 workstations, an academy, a conference center and an after-work and fitness club. In addition, the construction company DS Flexhal is building a production facility, a warehouse and a research center with testing facilities.
