The 117 m long "Boardwalk"

117 m yacht “Boardwalk” leaves Lürssen yard

Lürssen has delivered the 117 m long superyacht “Boardwalk”. The newbuild is one of the shipyard’s largest traditionally designed motor yachts and features two helipads and a pool, among other things.

The Lürssen shipyard has delivered a new superyacht. After the shipbuilder handed over the almost 80 m long “Odisea” in March of this year, a rather smaller yacht for the shipyard, a larger caliber now follows with the “Boardwalk”.

With a length of 117 m, the “Boardwalk” is one of the largest traditionally designed motor yachts built by Lürssen.

According to the shipyard, highlights include a swimming pool integrated flush into the Tesumo aft deck, a retractable deck section that opens up an external staircase, a cinema and two helipads.

The yacht also has a glazed walkway through the engine room. She was also delivered with three custom-made 12 m tenders from Hodgdon, an amphibious tender, all-terrain 4×4 vehicles and numerous other land vehicles.

Frank Woll was responsible for the exterior design and worked closely with the late Amy Halffman, Suzanne Glover and Teresa Francis on the interior design. According to Lürssen, the delicate architectural design conceals the yacht’s enormous volume, while appropriately shaped surfaces catch the light and create the impression of constant movement.
