Seven experts from the offshore wind and hydrogen sector have pooled their expertise under the name AquaConsult.

The established consulting and planning companies from Hamburg and northern Germany have set themselves the goal of combining networks, specialist knowledge and the many years of experience of the individual companies in the offshore wind and hydrogen sector in a targeted manner.

The network consists of Cruh21 GmbH, ONP Management GmbH, Tractebel Overdick GmbH, Impact Funding Europe GmbH, Deutsche Windtechnik AG, Nordwest Assekuranz GmbH & Co KG and INP Infrastructure GmbH. According to the information provided, it goes beyond mere project development and offers project developers and investors support in every phase of the project cycle for offshore wind and hydrogen projects.

AquaConsult aims to offer customized solutions

The newly founded company advises players from the energy and financial sectors on strategy development, the tendering phase, project development, regulation, approval and risk and insurance management. AquaConsult also offers expertise in financing, funding, planning, construction and operational management. The identification of suitable project partners, the moderation of consortia and the procurement of suitable off-takers are also part of the service portfolio. AquaConsult provides tailor-made solutions, it says.

“As an association of established companies, AquaConsult’s partners combine years of specialist knowledge in the offshore wind and hydrogen sectors along the entire value chain. This is unique in this form,” explains Jimmie Langham, the initiator of the consortium. With a clear focus on the progress of the offshore wind and hydrogen ramp-up, AquaConsult promotes emission-free energy production and focuses on economic benefits for investors, operators and society. The company says it is ready to help shape the future of the offshore industry as “offshore wind enablers” and build robust bridges.
