Seabourn equips cruise ships with Starlink antennas

To improve onboard internet connectivity, luxury and expedition cruise operator Seabourn is equipping more ships with Starlink antennas from SpaceX .

The upgraded technology is expected to provide guests with faster service, more connectivity and more reliable Wi-Fi wherever Starlink services are available[ds_preview].

“Following the positive response from our guests to the successful introduction of enhanced Starlink connectivity on our expedition ships, we are delighted to announce that our ultra-luxury fleet of ocean-going and expedition ships are now also equipped with Starlink. Our guests can now choose to connect or disconnect during their extraordinary voyages with Seabourn,” said Natalya Leahy, president of Seabourn.

Starlink antennas for a total of six Seabourn ships

Starlink is now available on the two new purpose-built ultra-luxury expedition ships, Seabourn Venture and Seabourn Pursuit, as well as the Seabourn Sojourn, Seabourn Quest, Seabourn Encore and Seabourn Ovation cruise ships.

“We are very proud to provide a high level of enhanced technology to our guests who want to stay connected, whether it’s to share their personal experiences with friends and family or to stay connected at work,” said Kathleen Erickson, Seabourn’s Vice President of Technology. “This technology will only enhance their experience while traveling at sea with Seabourn.”
