Böhm Kabeltechnik showcases certified ship cables

With more than 35 years of experience, Böhm Kabeltechnik supplies cables and wires for a wide range of industrial applications. At SMM 2026, the company will present its portfolio of certified cable solutions and logistics services for naval and commercial shipbuilding.

In recent years, Böhm Kabeltechnik has expanded its activities in the maritime sector, supplying cable systems for naval vessels, mega yachts, RoRo ferries and research vessels, as well as export projects worldwide. Among its latest references is the supply of cables for four K130 corvettes built to meet the demanding requirements of the German Armed Forces.

The company’s portfolio includes BAAINBw-approved VG cables in accordance with specification 95218 T60-66, as well as power and medium-voltage cables, data and telecommunications cables, bus cables, fibre-optic cables and coaxial cables certified for shipboard applications. The range is complemented by special cables and halogen-free drag chain cables for port systems.

Alongside its product portfolio, Böhm Kabeltechnik offers a range of project-specific services. These include cable labelling, taping and packaging according to delivery batches and destination lists, as well as stowage in sea containers, customs clearance and complete export handling.

According to the company, fast and flexible logistics are a key element of its service offering. Deliveries within Germany and neighbouring countries can be arranged within 24 hours, while shift and weekend operations support just-in-time deliveries for shipbuilding projects.

With a total site area of 28,500 m² and more than 15,690 automated storage locations, Böhm Kabeltechnik operates one of Europe’s largest warehouses for ship cables. This enables short delivery times and flexible supply solutions for shipyards and marine equipment manufacturers.
