The traditional shipyard Abeking & Rasmussen has a new chief salesman for the Navy division. Thomas Sperling comes from within the company.
Thomas Sperling is the new Sales Director Navy at Abeking & Rasmussen. He has been with the company for seven years and was previously responsible for Interior and Exterior Design as Head of Construction.
Thomas Sperling has completed numerous courses in the naval sector, including at NATO in Brussels and at the German Armed Forces Command and Staff College, and is closely associated with the German Navy as a Lieutenant Commander.
Blohm+Voss before Abeking
Before joining Abeking & Rasmussen, the graduate architect worked as a project manager at Blohm & Voss in Hamburg, where he was responsible for various orders.
Just a few weeks ago, Abeking & Rasmussen appointed a new Chief Operating Officer (COO). Björn Schlüter came from the neighbouring Fassmer shipyard. The shipyard now has a management duo: Matthias Hellmann (53) is CEO and Chairman of the Management Board.
