It was recently announced on the Business platform LinkedIn that Nikos Spath from DNV will become the Global Head of Public Affairs at DNV.
Currently, Nikos Spaeth holds the role of Head of Communications APAC based in Singapore. The new role will commence on 1 May 2024. “I’m very excited to start this new chapter in my DNV career, which now spans almost 10 years, with no two days the same,” Spath says.
He has a background in journalism, political science, history, PR, and marketing communications and has worked in the maritime industry for almost 15 years, 10 of which have been at DNV. The new role marks a new chapter in his career with DNV.
Farewell Singapore
The new role will see Spath move back to Hamburg, Germany. However, he highlights that his time in Singapore – his second home – isn’t quite over.
“For the remaining 8 months in Singapore, I will be venturing into my new Public Affairs role and helping to manage the transition in our APAC Comms Hub.” He says.
He will be joining the Hamburg office at the end of the year to start his new role.
