The Monaco Yacht Show gets underway today. As is the case every year, Lürssen superyachts are among the highlights of the show. This year, the German shipbuilder is showcasing no fewer than six vessels delivered this year.
Lürssen is celebrating the delivery of six bespoke yachts at the Monaco Yacht Show (MYS). The company is presenting its 2026 fleet and unveiling the 102.4-metre-long “Nixie” to the public for the first time.
According to Lürssen, this year’s deliveries demonstrate the breadth of what the superyacht builder has to offer. The “Boardwalk”, “Deep Blue”, “Nausicaä”, “Nixie”, “O3” and “Odisea” differ both in design and in length – which ranges from 78 m to well over 100 m.

Lürssen operates at three sites in Germany
The company operates three shipyards in northern Germany and a design centre in Croatia. Its expertise covers both new-builds and refits. In addition, a dedicated sales office in North America serves clients in the USA. According to the company, Lürssen has made a name for itself by developing complex and innovative technical solutions for large yachts and devises new approaches when conventional solutions fall short.
“Commissioning a yacht from Lürssen is a very personal experience,” says Peter Lürssen. “Every yacht reflects a different vision, and every project presents our teams with different challenges. The fact that we have delivered six yachts in a single year, each with its own character and specific requirements, demonstrates the breadth of our expertise.”
This year alone, Lürssen has implemented solutions developed specifically to meet the requirements of individual projects: from large-scale glazed structures and innovative dry-dock solutions to large, permanently installed outdoor LED screens and completely redesigned layouts.

Lürssen plans service centre on the Mediterranean
Lürssen’s refit department was also working at full capacity. This year, it completed six extensive refit projects in northern Germany with a combined length of more than 650 m. These included the 136 m-long “Hadar” (formerly “Flying Fox“). In addition to a complete repaint and an engine overhaul, she was fitted with a specially developed folding mast. This reduces her height above the waterline by six metres, opening up additional cruising areas.
“Our refit department enables us to support our clients at every stage of yacht ownership,” says York Ilgner, Managing Director of Lürssen Werft Hamburg. “Like our colleagues in new-build, we are also prepared for the most demanding and technically challenging tasks. This applies equally to motor and sailing yachts.”
Through its Fast Operations and Repair Unit (FORU), Lürssen also offers a comprehensive global service, which has been continuously expanded in recent years. As part of this expansion, the company is planning to establish its own service centre in the Mediterranean region. Tarragona in Spain has been selected as the location. The centre is intended to serve as a base in a region where many Lürssen yachts and other yachts are operating. Yachts in more distant cruising areas will continue to be serviced by FORU teams flown in.
