Michael de Visser joins Transport Capital

After the sale of NIBC’s shipping portfolio to HCOB, shipping boss Michael de Visser was left without a job. Now he has joined Transport Capital.

The financial advisory firm Transport Capital, active in the maritime and aviation sectors, has brought Michael de Visser on board as Senior Adviser. With almost three decades of experience in asset finance and capital advisory, he brings a wealth of expertise to further strengthen Transport Capital’s strategic capabilities.

In his new role, de Visser will contribute to the expansion of Transport Capital’s specialised maritime services. Prior to joining Transport Capital, Michael held several senior positions in the maritime finance sector, including Global Head of Shipping & Intermodal at NIBC Bank until its sale to HCOB.
