Marc Mühlenbeck has taken on the role of Managing Director at Mate@Sea GmbH. The company develops sustainable solutions for the maritime industry.

Previously, Marc Mühlenbeck was Sales Manager Germany for the Dutch battery manufacturer EST-Floattech[ds_preview].

Under Marc Mühlenbeck’s leadership, Mate@Sea will focus on several key areas, including the development of maritime solutions and the representation of renowned companies. Current representations include Tuco Marine from Denmark, Soby Værft from Denmark, and MultiMaritime from Norway. According to the company, these partnerships underline Mate@Sea’s commitment to electrification in the maritime sector, which contributes significantly to reducing environmental impact.

Mate@Sea will soon be representing ESS manufacturers

In addition, a new representation in the field of energy storage systems (ESS) is imminent. According to the company, this expansion will add another forward-looking technology to Mate@Sea’s portfolio, which is essential for transforming the maritime industry towards a more sustainable future.

Another focus of Mate@Sea under Marc Mühlenbeck’s leadership will be work on composite material applications in the offshore industry. Due to their corrosion resistance and durability, composite materials offer enormous potential to reduce operating and maintenance costs while minimising the environmental impact of maritime operations.
