There is a lot of buzz about digitalisation, and many are curios about its real-world benefits in everyday business operations.
To address this, Inmarsat and HANSA are hosting a seminar titled “Business value of maritime digitalisation – Harnessing the power of AI, IoT, and connectivity for digital efficiency and growth”. This event aims to shed light on how modern digital technologies can enhance business operations.
The one-and-a-half hour seminar will take place on 4 September during SMM. It will focus on the transformative impact of advanced technologies such as AI, IoT and enhanced connectivity in the maritime industry.
The session will bring together a diverse group of participants, including ship owners and operators, technology innovators and research organisations, all coming together to discuss the evolving dynamics of the maritime industry.
Digitalisation in a major container shipping company
Donya-Florance Amer, Chief Information and Human Resources Officer at Hapag-Lloyd AG, will be one of the panellists. She will share insights from the digital world of Hapag-Lloyd – one of the world’s largest container shipping companies.
Joining her will be Marco Camporeale, Vice President of Strategy and Business Development at Inmarsat Maritime. The discussion will be moderated by Janne Silden, a seasoned podcaster at HANSA.news global.
