Tanker shipping company Gefo has appointed Bernadett Beles as Head of Chartering & Operations Sea-Tankers.
“Bernadett brings extensive experience in the chemical tanker market and has played a key role in the successful implementation of many projects,” said Managing Directors Ulf Loose and Sven von Appen. “Her contributions have significantly strengthened our partnerships and customer relationships.”
Beles has been working in the shipping industry for many years, and in 2021 she rejoined the Gefo Shipping Group (after previously working as an operator from 2008 to 2011), where she most recently worked as Chartering Manager. Prior to that, she worked for ExxonMobil as a Freight Trader and in chartering at Essberger Tankers, among others.
In her new role, Beles will be responsible for the strategic and operational management of the department. “We are confident that Bernadett will lead the team with commitment, vision and professionalism.”
