The German yacht builder YYachts, based in Greifswald, has expanded its management team. Effective June 1, Gregor Bredenbeck has assumed responsibility for sales and international expansion.
In addition to leading the sales team, Gregor Bredenbeck will drive the international expansion of the YYachts brand and further expand the company’s brokerage and charter operations.
Bredenbeck brings decades of industry experience to his new position. He began his career in 1990 in the construction of racing yachts before moving into the sales of premium yachts. There, he served discerning international clients for many years.
The 55-year-old comments: “I felt it was time for a new challenge in my professional career, and I didn’t have to think twice when YYachts approached me. I have worked with several of my new colleagues in the past, and YYachts has built a truly exceptional team over the past few years.”
YYachts founder Michael Schmidt also welcomes the new addition: “Over the years, Gregor and I have successfully implemented numerous projects together. I have always admired the professionalism he has demonstrated in every role he has held. With Gregor on board, we are opening a new chapter in the development of our global sales activities.”
