NavCom specialist Radio Holland is getting a new CEO in Sven Zaadnoordijk.
The Radio Holland Group, which is part of the Pon Group, has now announced that Zaadnoordijk will take up the post of CEO on January 1, 2024.
He will then take over from Kees-Jan Mes, “who has led the group through a significant transformation in recent years”. Zaadnoordijk has been with Radio Holland since 2012. After serving as Chief Commercial Officer (CCO) and Regional Director for Asia and the Americas in various countries such as the Netherlands, Hong Kong, Singapore and the US, he has “the proven experience and relationships” to lead Radio Holland into the next phase, it says.
“Next phase” planned for Radio Holland
The company has also been through some difficult years with cutbacks and restructuring, such as the sale of the offshore division. “During the strategic development phase in 2020, Sven Zaadnoordijk improved the global processes and brought Radio Holland back to the market with a continuous focus on a seamless customer journey, customer loyalty, employee engagement and group finances,” said Kees-Jan Mes about the change. Today, the company is once again the “frontrunner in the maritime navigation and communication industry”.
Radio Holland, part of the Pon Group, offers “critical electronic solutions for shipping” and global on-board and remote services, among other things. In a statement, the board expressed confidence that Zaadnoordijk will lead Radio Holland into the next phase of growth and innovation.
