New management structure for Bureau Veritas in Asia

Bureau Veritas Marine & Offshore has filled two senior management positions in Asia. Jeffrey Guo is responsible for the Asia-Pacific region, whilst Maciej Lepicki is in charge of the Greater China region.

Bureau Veritas Marine & Offshore has appointed Jeffrey Guo as Senior Vice President for Asia Pacific and Maciej Lepicki as Vice President for Greater China. Both appointments took effect on 1 June.

Guo succeeds Alex Gregg-Smith, who was appointed President of Bureau Veritas Marine & Offshore in January 2026. In his new role, Guo is responsible for the strategic development and operational management of Bureau Veritas’ maritime business in the Asia-Pacific region. This includes, among other things, market development, customer relations, innovation and organisational development.

According to the company, Guo has more than 20 years’ experience in the international shipping and energy sectors. He previously held technical, commercial and senior management roles at companies including ABS, SeaRiver Maritime, ExxonMobil and QatarEnergy LNG.

Maciej Lepicki will report to Guo and lead Bureau Veritas’ Marine & Offshore business in Greater China. His responsibilities include strengthening client relationships, managing regional operations, driving digital transformation initiatives and developing local expertise.

According to Bureau Veritas, Lepicki also brings more than 20 years of experience in shipping, offshore engineering and the maritime industry. He previously held senior positions at Chipolbrok, BBG Shipmanagement and Bourbon Offshore.

Focus on Asia-Pacific and Greater China

With these appointments, Bureau Veritas aims to strengthen its regional leadership structure. The company highlights the importance of Asia-Pacific and Greater China for global shipping, LNG transport, offshore energy projects and the development of future fuels.
