The organisers of the Amsterdam trade fair Metstrade have taken over the event “The Superyacht Forum”.
The trade fair organiser RAI Amsterdam has announced that it will assume full responsibility for the organisation of the forum from this year onwards. Martin Redmayne, Chairman of The Superyacht Group, will remain with the Superyacht Forum as a strategic advisor.
The Superyacht Forum has been held in Amsterdam for more than thirty years. Originally called “Project 95,” it soon became one of the most important conferences and networking events for superyacht industry executives.
Metstrade wants to further expand Superyacht Forum
Martin Redmayne, owner of The Superyacht Group, explains: “After 30 years, it’s time for a new phase. The Superyacht Forum is in good hands with RAI Amsterdam. It is a logical transition to a highly competent organization, as the great success of METSTRADE proves. I have full confidence and look forward to remaining closely associated with The Superyacht Forum, albeit in a strategic role. This transition will allow the Superyacht Group and myself to focus on our future strategy, which is to provide valuable information, insight and high-calibre consultancy services to the industry.”
Niels Klarenbeek, Director of Metstrade, adds: “We are very grateful to Martin Redmayne for what he has built with the Superyacht Forum. The team here sees countless future opportunities for this event and looks forward to working with the existing partners. Together we will continue to build on the success of this market-leading conference organised for and by the superyacht industry.”
The next edition of the Superyacht Forum will take place on Monday and Tuesday, November 18 and 19, 2024. It will reportedly have a new, dynamic format that builds on the proven track record of previous events.
