At SMM 2026, Jumo will present the TAROS H48 Ex, a high-pressure transmitter developed for demanding applications in hazardous (Ex) areas. The sensor is also suitable for renewable energy and transport applications, including hydrogen refuelling stations, hydrogen storage systems, compressors and pipeline installations.
The TAROS H48 Ex measures pressures of up to 1,000 bar and allows test pressures exceeding 1,050 bar. A wide operating temperature range, a reliable 4–20 mA output signal, various process connections and comprehensive approvals enable the transmitter to be used in a broad range of industrial and marine applications.
According to Jumo, the transmitter combines a robust design with a long service life, high measurement accuracy and zero-point correction. The latter is intended to simplify commissioning and maintenance while helping to reduce operating costs over the lifetime of the system.
The product has been developed to support flexible plant design and modernisation. Its wide range of variants allows customers to adapt the transmitter to specific application requirements, reducing engineering effort and facilitating project implementation.
