The HVAC specialist GF Piping Systems from the Swiss company Georg Fischer AG is expanding its cooperation with the Italian shipbuilding group Fincantieri.
GF Piping specializes in flow solutions for fresh water, swimming pools, cooling (HVAC) and waste water in the maritime industry. An extended partnership has been agreed with the state-controlled Fincantieri Group.
They will remain the “leading supplier” of piping systems for hot and cold water, refrigeration and ballast water on board all newbuildings and retrofits in Fincantieri’s 18 shipyards on four continents, according to a statement. GF Piping Systems and Fincantieri Shipyards reaffirmed their good relationship at a recent meeting, underlining their commitment to mutual growth and success.

The depth of our portfolio and our expertise are the building blocks to create connections for life – like our 20-year partnership with Fincantieri Shipyards,” says Julian Backes, Head of Sales Marine EMEA, GF Piping Systems.
The company is represented in 33 countries with its own sales companies and in 15 countries with its own manufacturing centers. In 2024, GF Piping Systems generated sales of CHF 1,971 million and employed 8,309 people.
