Europort Istanbul expects 300 exhibitors

Europort Istanbul will take place at the Yenikapı Expo Center from 4–6 November 2026. The organisers expect 300 exhibiting companies from more than 30 countries and around 7,000 maritime professionals

The event brings together Turkish and international shipbuilders, shipping companies, maritime authorities, equipment suppliers, technology providers and service companies. Located at the crossroads of Europe and Asia, Istanbul provides a meeting point for the international maritime industry.

Alongside participation from the Turkish maritime industry, the 2026 edition will feature 64 individual international exhibitors, as well as dedicated pavilions from the Netherlands, China and Poland.

For the first time, Europort Istanbul will also host an Africa Pavilion. Organised by Blue Ocean International, it will focus on selected maritime markets including Cameroon, Nigeria, Kenya, Benin and Côte d’Ivoire. Investments in ports, logistics, offshore activities and the blue economy in these countries are creating opportunities for international technology suppliers and partnerships, according to the organisers.

Turkish shipbuilding market

Europort Istanbul combines international participation with access to Türkiye’s maritime industry. The country’s maritime cluster spans newbuilding, ship repair, conversion, maintenance and naval projects.

According to the organisers, Türkiye has more than 85 active shipyards, providing a substantial market for maritime equipment, technology and services. Turkish shipyards continue to strengthen their international position across a range of vessel types and maritime projects.

The exhibition will connect this maritime cluster with international suppliers, technology providers, shipowners and industry professionals. International companies will have the opportunity to meet Turkish shipyards and decision-makers, alongside partners from Europe, Asia, Africa and other maritime regions.

Conference and matchmaking

Alongside the exhibition, Europort Istanbul will offer an international programme focused on knowledge exchange, cooperation and business contacts.

The BlueBridge Maritime Istanbul Forum is a two-day conference exploring maritime technologies and trends. Topics will include AI, digital twins, autonomous shipping, smart ports, cybersecurity, alternative fuels, voyage optimisation and the economics of green shipping.

Visitors and exhibitors can also take part in MariMatch Europort, an international B2B matchmaking event organised by Enterprise Europe Network. The programme brings together companies and institutions from Türkiye and abroad for targeted one-to-one meetings to explore technology partnerships and international cooperation.
