Dennis Tetzlaff moves from Tui Cruises to Stena Line as Chief Operating Officer Fleet.
As of 1 May 2024, Dennis Tetzlaff will be the new Chief Operating Officer Fleet at Stena Line and part of the Group’s management team. “I am delighted to welcome Dennis to Stena Line. As of May 1, 2024, Dennis Tetzlaff will be the new Chief Operating Officer Fleet at Stena Line and part of the Group’s management team. Most recently, he worked at TUI Cruises, where he was Vice President Fleet Operations & Newbuild.
Tetzlaff has a degree in Nautical Science and Maritime Transport from the University of Applied Sciences in Emden/Leer, Germany, and his career at sea began at the age of 20 as a cadet on a container ship. After completing his studies, he worked on container ships again before joining the German cruise company AIDA Cruises, where he worked his way up from second officer to captain. From AIDA he moved to TUI Cruises, where he worked as Senior Head of Nautical Operations and Director Nautical Fleet & Health before becoming Vice President Fleet Operations & Newbuild.
Dennis will succeed Ian Hampton who, according to the shipping company, will remain with Stena Line “to focus on new business ventures”.
