At the traditional Vino@Veritas reception in Hamburg, Ramona Zettelmaier welcomed guests in her new role for the first time. She thanked her “crew” for their commitment and looked back on a successful year.
On the third Thursday in November, the classification society Bureau Veritas invites guests to its traditional Vino@Veritas reception at its Hamburg office.
Last Thursday, the tradition continued. Numerous representatives from the various segments of the maritime industry came together at the BV location at Veritaskai in Hamburg-Harburg to exchange ideas over a glass of good wine or champagne and good food in a relaxed atmosphere.
Before the culinary journey through France and Germany began, the guests were traditionally welcomed. There was a premiere this year: Ramona Zettelmaier gave the speech for the first time in her new role as Regional Marine Chief Executive for Central Europe at Bureau Veritas. In it, she first thanked the entire crew for their daily and tireless efforts: “It fills me with pride to have a team like this on board.”
She continued: “We can look back on a very successful year and would like to celebrate this success with you. The reason we are here is because of you – your trust and your patience, which has accompanied us on many days. We would like to thank you for that,” said Ramona Zettelmeier. Before the buffet was opened, Zettelmeier made a toast and pointed out to her guests that the best wine is the one you share with others.
Ramona Zettelmaier has been Regional Marine Chief Executive for Central Europe since the summer. She took over the position from Rolf Stiefel. She had previously worked for Bureau Veritas as Head of Sales & Customer Relation for around 13 years.
