Porto Montenegro, operated by Adriatic Marinas, has appointed Andrea Eggers as its new managing director. She brings with her extensive experience in property and destination management.
Adriatic Marinas is a subsidiary of the Investment Corporation of Dubai and specialises in the development and operation of waterfront sites and yachting destinations. Eggers’ predecessor, David Margason, will in future focus on the management and further growth of Adriatic 42 in Bijela, Montenegro.
As an internationally experienced executive in property and destination management, Eggers brings almost two decades of experience in leading major European projects, Adriatic Marinas announced. These include mixed-use developments, as well as retail and lifestyle destinations. Prior to joining Adriatic Marinas, she worked as Retail Portfolio Director for Austria and Germany and as General Manager at Unibail-Rodamco-Westfield. There, she was responsible for the strategic and financial performance of a large property portfolio and achieved “sustainable growth, high occupancy rates and an improved quality of stay for customers and tenants”, the statement said.

Throughout her career, Andrea Eggers has held senior positions in portfolio management, lettings, marketing, operations, hospitality and destination development. She is renowned for building high-performing teams and creating economically successful destinations, and brings extensive expertise in asset management, placemaking, strategic partnerships and the design of first-class customer experiences.
