ZF’s Next Gen Propulsion Highlights

ZF invites you to dive into the Next Generation Propulsion and experience the latest highlights on site at the ZF booth 219 in hall A3.

As an outstanding and reliable partner in the field of marine propulsion technology, ZF already has a unique product portfolio that includes complete driveline systems as well as components for all types of vessels. And as a continuous innovator, ZF offers the Next Generation of Propulsion with a broad portfolio of clean and sustainable propulsion systems and smart connectivity solutions.

Our latest Next Generation Propulsion highlight is the new ZF 3000 NRD PTI for waterjet applications. This new hybrid transmission has a space- and weight-saving design and is designed for a maximum output of 1,940 kW and 7,560 Nm on the main unit and 500 kW and 1,500 Nm on the electric power take-off. The hybrid module, an overall drive solution that simplifies the electrification of new and existing ship designs, will be also on display. The key feature of the overall drive solution is a newly developed support frame that centers the electric motor to the hybrid transmission and enables a plug-and-play approach, which is unrivaled in the market.

ZF’s Contra Rotating AT Thruster can also be seen in full size at the booth. This thruster series is characterized by excellent performance, maximum efficiency, and low-noise operation. In an L-drive configuration, the ZF CR AT Thruster is also available as a purely electrically driven solution.
