CEO Heiner Lang is leaving the Minden-based company Wago due to differences of opinion regarding its strategic direction.
This has now been announced by the supplier of connection and automation technology and interface electronics. A successor has not yet been appointed.
Heiner Lang has been at the helm of the Wago Group since January 2021 and, according to the company, has “made a significant contribution to the growth of the company in recent years”.
“We would like to thank Heiner Lang for his dedicated commitment and the positive impetus he has provided in recent years. We wish him all the best for the future and his upcoming professional tasks,” said Sven Hohorst on behalf of the shareholders and the Advisory Board.
In order to ensure stability and continuity in the company’s management, Jürgen Koopsingraven, Chief Financial Officer of the WAGO Group, will take over the CEO function on an interim basis. The successor to the CEO will be appointed with the necessary care and sufficient time.
