The Supervisory Board of Thyssenkrupp Marine Systems has appointed Angelika
Kambeck to succeed Bernd Hartmann as Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO) and Labor Director.
Kambeck will take up her position on June 1, 2025. She will assume HR responsibility for more than 8,000 employees of Thyssenkrupp Marine Systems worldwide. With her experience as an HR manager in three DAX and MDax companies such as Volkswagen, E.ON and Klöckner, she will make an important contribution to the company’s growth strategy. In particular, she will contribute her expertise in strategic organizational development, people empowerment, cultural change, new work and digital transformation. Most recently, Kambeck worked as an independent HR advisor, consultant and coach.

Kambeck succeeds Bernd Hartmann, who is retiring. In the position of CHRO, Hartmann has played a key role in shaping the company’s development since March 2018. Most recently, he drove forward the plans to increase the workforce at the Wismar site. Before joining Thyssenkrupp Marine Systems, Bernd Hartmann held various management positions in the Thyssenkrupp Group, including CHRO of the former Ressource Technologies and Process Technologies business units, the main business areas at Thyssenkrupp Industrial Solutions.
