“This mega yacht is another milestone that confirms the strong synergy with renowned partners such as Espen Oeino International and FM Architettura. The keel laying is a special moment in the construction of a yacht, especially for a project of this size and with these futuristic features, both aesthetically and technically. Now that we are at the beginning of the development phase, we are all very excited to see how this yacht will take shape,” commented Giovanni Costantino, founder and CEO of The Italian Sea Group, on the keel laying.
TISG emphasises sustainability
According to TISG, the mega yacht will be equipped with an innovative “diesel-electric” propulsion system in line with its sustainability-focused strategy. This includes two azimuth thrusters with an output of 1,980 kW each. They are designed to ensure maximum manoeuvrability and comfort on board with extremely low noise and vibration levels.
The Admiral “Project Spyder” megayacht has five decks with modern and elegant lines. With a length of 88 m and a width of 13.8 m. Monaco-based studio Espen Oeino International has interpreted the owner’s wishes by designing spacious living areas and comfort, according to TISG.
The FM Architettura design studio created the interior design. The spacious and bright rooms are thanks to large windows and sliding doors. “We are very pleased to be part of the beautiful MY 88 ‘ProjectSpyder’, created for a wonderful and very close multi-generational family who will surely have a lot of fun on this beautifully designed mega yacht, designed by Espen Oeino and managed and surveyed by A Group,” commented Francesca Muzio, co-founder of FM Architettura Design Studio.
Delivery of the new Admiral 88m megayacht is scheduled for 2027.
