SIGTTO boss Ian Revell resigns

Ian Revell had been Managing Director of the Society of International Gas Tanker and Terminal Operators (SIGTTO) since September 2022.

He has now resigned from his position due to illness. The industry association is therefore looking for a new CEO.

Revell has been a qualified engineer for over 20 years and worked for the classification society Lloyd’s Register for more than 17 years. He was also part of the administrative team at Shipamanger V.Group before joining Cleanship as CEO and then Avantis Marine. He was diagnosed with cancer earlier this year.

SIGTTO serves the exchange of ideas in the tanker industry

SIGTTO is an international body founded 45 years ago for the exchange of technical information and experience between members of the industry. The aim is to improve the safety and operational reliability of gas tankers and terminals.
