SeaRenergy signs a long-term charter agreement with Britoil for the “BOS Prelude” to enhance its offshore supply activities.
SeaRenergy has signed a long-term charter agreement with Britoil Offshore Services for the platform supply vessel (PSV) “BOS Prelude”, strengthening its offshore supply capabilities in the North Sea.
The vessel will not only be used as part of SeaRenergy’s multi-year offshore infrastructure contract with Siemens Energy to support the installation and commissioning of converter platforms, but will also be available for all other supply tasks in the German Bight and the UK sector.
The vessel’s charter has a fixed term of seven years, with the option to extend for up to three further years, potentially securing supply services for a full decade.
Originally, the “BOS Prelude” was acquired by Britoil from Vroon Offshore in 2023. The PSV will operate out of ports in the German Bight and when required in the UK sector and will support material transfer and offshore logistics for Siemens Energy’s offshore infrastructure framework.
“With the ‘BOS Prelude’, we are expanding our offshore supply activities,” said Benjamin Vordemfelde, Managing Director of SeaRenergy Offshore. Founded in 2010, the company is part of the Hamburg-based Rickmers Group and offers consulting and engineering services in the offshore sector.
