The drive manufacturer Schottel has appointed Holger Trecksel as Managing Director of its subsidiary Schottel Far East. The appointment took effect on July 1, 2025.
Holger Trecksel succeeds Joachim Schein, who has played a key role in the company’s development and success over the past two decades.
Bringing 23 years of experience in the maritime industry, Trecksel is a qualified naval architect and business economist. According to the company, he has been working closely with Joachim Schein in recent months to ensure a seamless transition.
“We warmly welcome Holger Trecksel to his new position,” says Roland Schwandt, Deputy Managing Director of Schottel. “He has shown that he is well prepared to build on the solid foundation laid by Joachim Schein. We are convinced that he will further strengthen Schottel’s presence and partnerships in South East Asia, East Australasia and Oceania.”
