Reintjes appoints Haferkorn as new Head of Service Department

Thomas Haferkorn has taken over as the new Head of Service at gearbox manufacturer Reintjes, effective June 1.

The 39-year-old had been responsible for service sales as a team leader for the past two and a half years. Prior to that, he held various positions at the Hamelin-based company over a long period.

Starting in 2005, Haferkorn completed vocational training and a dual study program at Reintjes. He then worked as a Sales Manager in sales until mid-2015, before returning to the company after several years as a Customer Account Manager at other firms.

“Thomas Haferkorn brings extensive technical expertise, knows the industry, and is deeply familiar with our company. He is therefore the ideal person for this role and will set important new directions,” said Reintjes CEO Klaus Deleroi. He added with satisfaction: “With him, we’ve found the perfect candidate to fill the long-vacant position of Head of Service.”

As the new Head of Service, Haferkorn is now responsible for the entire area—from spare parts to service technicians.
