Rainer Fabian new president of the UVHH port association

Rainer Fabian is the new President of the Port of Hamburg Business Association. He was elected by the Port Council, the association’s “parliament”.

The position was vacant during the election period, which runs until 2026, after Ulfert Cornelius moved from Evos Hamburg to the Independent Tank Storage Association (UTV) as Managing Director and therefore resigned from office.

Fabian was previously Vice President and represents H.D. Cotterell at the UVHH. He was previously employed by the Hamburg MPP terminal operator C.Steinweg and TCO Transcargo.

Cornelius was elected to head the UVHH just over a year ago as the successor to long-standing President Gunther Bonz.
