Port of Hamburg Marketing has appointed Hendrik Meyn to the Executive Board. Together with Axel Mattern, he will strengthen the port’s marketing activities and provide new impetus for its international positioning.
Port of Hamburg Marketing (HHM) once again has a dual leadership team. With effect from November 1, Hendrik Meyn joined HHM from the Harren Group to form the new duo with Axel Mattern.
The Supervisory Board of Hafen Hamburg Marketing e.V. (HHM) has appointed Hendrik Meyn (38) to the HHM Executive Board. Together with Axel Mattern, the economics graduate will once again form the two-member board of the association. Meyn, who most recently worked for a shipping group, took up the new position on November 1, 2025.

He will enrich HHM with his professional experience and specialist knowledge in the field of marketing. With his expertise, he perfectly complements the HHM Executive Board, which Axel Mattern has formed alone for the last three and a half years.”

Hendrik Meyn most recently spent four years as Director Group Brand and Marketing at the Harren Group , where he was responsible for the company’s transformation and positioning as an international project logistics and shipping group. Prior to this, he worked for four and a half years as a management consultant, including in the fields of energy and industrial and manufacturing technology.
