ONE India was founded in 2018 and has since established a network of 25 offices with 410 employees by 2022. From November 2023, ONE will offer 22 weekly services covering a total of eleven ports in India.
Weekly service with nine vessels
The new WIN service will offer a weekly route from Hazira, Nhava Sheva and Mundra to New York, Norfolk, Savannah and Charleston. It will also call at the ports of Damietta, Algeciras and Jeddah, offering further connections to Mediterranean destinations in combination with other services. Nine ships will be deployed, all of which are operated by ONE.
Main commodities are FMCG, perishables and retail goods
“Hazira Container Terminal is a gateway to the industrially vibrant belt of South Gujarat, North Maharashtra and Central India,” said Apramapar Singh, General Manager of India Marketing at ONE India. The most important goods include FMCG (Fast Moving Consumer Goods) such as electronics, perishables such as food and retail goods such as textiles and apparel. In addition, chemical goods transported between these two countries would benefit from the direct and expanded capacity.
