Johan Praetorius has been appointed as the new Marketing Manager Cargo at Ports of Stockholm.
He joins from the ro-ro shipping company Lakeway Link and has also worked for major container shipping companies in the past.
Praetorius will strengthen the port’s marketing and sales department with his extensive experience in transportation and technology with immediate effect and create further conditions for the development of Ports of Stockholm, according to a statement.
Most recently, he was Commercial Manager at the ro-ro shipping company Lakeway Link. He also has extensive experience with various container shipping companies such as Hamburg Süd/Maersk and Hapag-Lloyd. He has also held commercial positions at DHL.

“I am very excited about this opportunity,” said Praetorius, calling the port an important infrastructure operator for the region that plays a “key role” in the development of modern logistics solutions. Stockholm is one of the largest passenger ports in the world and one of the largest freight ports in Sweden. Over 7 million ferry and cruise passengers pass through the ports every year, as well as 7 million tons of goods.
