MacGregor delivers for three new container ships

The US shipyard Philly Shipyard has commissioned MacGregor to supply cargo handling solutions for three new container ships.

The order for the three container ships with a capacity of 1,822 FEU was placed by SM Solutions/Philly Shipyard. Delivery is scheduled to begin in the fourth quarter of 2024 and be completed by 2026[ds_preview].

MacGregor’s scope of supply includes design, hardware and delivery of hatch covers, lashing bridges, deck supports, fixed and removable cell guides in the hold and container fixed fittings.
