Lutz Weber, most recently a member of the management board at the Krämer Group in Hamburg, is moving to Lürssen in Schacht-Audorf.
At the Lürssen Group, Weber will become Commercial Director of the Kröger shipyard in Schacht-Audorf on the Kiel Canal. He took over the position on November 1, Lürssen announced in an internal letter. [ds_preview]
Weber had been a member of the management board at the Krämer Group in Hamburg since early summer 2020. There he had managed the investment company Dr. Karl-Heinz Krämer GmbH.
Weber previously worked at Essberger, NSB and Hanseatic Lloyd
The experienced finance manager was previously Managing Director and CFO of the Hamburg-based John T. Essberger / Deutsche Afrika-Linien (DAL) Group from 2015 to July 2019, before leaving the company in search of “a new professional challenge”, as was reported at the time.
From 2009 to 2015, Weber had worked as CFO at the shipping company NSB (Buxtehude). Before that, he spent eight years as Head of Finance and Controlling at Hanseatic Lloyd AG in Switzerland. Weber holds a degree in economics and engineering from the Technical University of Hamburg.
