Imes, a company specializing in intelligent cylinder pressure sensors, has expanded its management team. Harun Yigit has been the second Managing Director since the beginning of the year.
He is now managing the company based in Kaufbeuren, Bavaria, together with company founder Stefan Neumann.
Stefan Neumann founded Imes around 30 years ago. Since then, sensors for cylinder pressure measurement on engines have been produced under his leadership. These are used in engines all over the world – not only in shipping, but also in stationary systems.
His long-time employee Harun Yigit joined the management team at the beginning of the year. “Imes has grown strongly in recent years and needs to strengthen its management team in the medium to long term. Harun Yigit has been with Imes for 15 years and is familiar with all internal and external processes for his new position as Managing Director,” says Stefan Neumann.
Harun Yigit trained as a mechatronics engineer specializing in combustion engines. Harun Yigit initially worked in production and then in service. He has worked in sales worldwide since 2016. “I am looking forward to my new tasks because I want to continue to tackle the associated challenges with a great deal of innovation and teamwork and drive forward the strengthening of Imes’ market position,” says the new Managing Director.
