See you in Athens

In just under two weeks, Athens will become a maritime hotspot, as the first week of June will see the curtain rise on Posidonia 2024. With almost 2,000 exhibitors and 30,000 visitors, the previous edition of the event set a record. But this year’s edition also has the potential to surpass this success. After years of the pandemic and the associated travel restrictions, countries such as India and China are returning to Athens – a strong comeback and a highlight of Posidonia 2024.

Another highlight will be the strong presence of Greek shipyards at Posidonia. As the fair’s director, Theodore Vokos, announced in advance, the revitalised Greek shipbuilding industry will take centre stage at the fair. They will not only present ship repairs, but also showcase their potential for building new ships. A total of 85 shipyards from 26 countries will be represented at Posidonia.

Trade visitors can also expect many product highlights, an extensive conference programme and numerous side events.

Our new issue of HANSA.news global Greek Shipping Edition gives a preview of what Posidonia visitors can expect. Read about the innovations that the Greek trade fair has in store and the trending topics that the industry is focusing on. Get in the mood for Posidonia 2024.
