BUSINESSrun During SMM: Networking for a Good Cause

Under the motto “Running for a Cause, Connecting for Success,” the 61st BUSINESSrun will take place during the SMM in Hamburg on Wednesday, 4 September 2024, at 7:30 am.

The BUSINESSrun offers a unique opportunity to combine physical activity with valuable networking while contributing to environmental conservation. The 7.5-kilometer route takes participants around the picturesque Außenalster (Alster Lakes). The start and finish point is at the Norddeutscher Regatta Verein (NRV) Clubhouse, located at Schöne Aussicht 37, 22085 Hamburg.

Participants are invited to arrive at 7:10 am to collect their running shirts made from recycled plastic waste and join the warm-up exercises led by a professional running coach. The run begins at 7:30 am, and the first runners are expected to return around 8:15 am. Following the run, there will be an opportunity to continue networking in a relaxed atmosphere while enjoying refreshments.

The participation fee is EUR 50.00, which will be donated entirely to the Blue Marine Foundation, a charity dedicated to protecting and restoring ocean life. Blue Marine’s mission is to have at least 30 percent of the ocean under effective protection and the entire ocean responsibly managed by 2030.

The event is organized by Flenzies GmbH and supported by sponsors Emission+ by EnvService, Rolls-Royce Solutions GmbH, and media partners HANSA.news global, ITJ International Transport Journal, and MARPRO.
