Adriatic 42 enters the next development phase: Klaus Borgschulte becomes CEO, Dirk Malgowski takes over Commercial & Corporate Development. Both bring decades of industry experience with them.
The Montenegro-based shipyard Adriatic 42 is entering the next phase of its development and has made new appointments to its management structure. Klaus Borgschulte has been appointed as the new CEO. In addition, Dirk Malgowski joins the team in a managerial role and assumes responsibility for Commercial and Corporate Development.
Borgschulte succeeds Eric Robert-Peillard, who has managed the business for the past twelve months. Under his leadership, Adriatic 42 has successfully acquired and implemented several complex and high-volume service and refit projects, the shipyard announced. “We would like to thank Eric for his great efforts and the successes of the past year, in which the shipyard has climbed significantly up the scale of size and complexity of projects,” said Chairman David Margason.
With Borgschulte and Malgowski, the shipyard will in future be relying on two managers who have been working together for almost two decades. Both previously held key positions at ThyssenKrupp and the Lürssen shipyard, where they were involved in the construction and refit of numerous major superyachts. “We are delighted to welcome Klaus and Dirk to our team. Their combined experience in the yacht and shipbuilding industry is virtually unmatched,” Margason emphasized.
The appointment of the two managers is a key step in driving forward Adriatic 42’s ambitious development and growth program. According to Margason, the shipyard is already in an advanced planning phase for new projects, the implementation of which is now beginning. Specific details will be published shortly.
