Benetti shipyard launches “Papa Joe” into the water

The seventh unit of the Diamond 44M class – the yacht “Papa Joe” – has been launched at the Benetti shipyard in Viareggio.

The yacht, with exterior lines designed by Giorgio Maria Cassetta and an interior designed by Benetti, will be the “owner’s family boat”, according to the shipyard. The launching took place on the 56 m long inclined slipway, which is still fully operational in the Viareggio shipyard.

The Diamond yacht has a length of 44 meters and has five cabins for twelve guests, while the crew of seven can be accommodated in five additional cabins alongside the captain.

According to the shipyard, the contribution of the owner is also evident on the “Papa Joe”, who actively collaborated with the shipyard in the design of his yacht. He opted for various elements that reflect an unmistakably elegant style, they say. The layout of this vessel was designed by the shipyard to make the most of the spaces both inside and out to ensure maximum comfort.
