First an innovation award, now a business award: Bachmann electronic honoured in Austria. The Austrian company Bachmann electronic has received two prestigious awards in quick succession.
The Feldkirch-based automation specialist was recently recognised as the best company in the region of Vorarlberg in the “Austria’s Leading Companies” competition for large enterprises.
“This award is confirmation of the commitment of our entire team,” says a delighted Bernhard Zangerl, CEO of Bachmann electronic GmbH. “It shows that consistent further development, financial stability and long-term thinking bear fruit even in turbulent times. For us, however, success is never an end in itself but always the starting point for new challenges.”
Bachmann receives one of the country’s most important business awards
“Austria’s Leading Companies” is one of the most important business awards in the country. The winners are determined according to an analytical procedure that evaluates the company’s three most recent annual financial statements. Developed by PwC Austria and the Kreditschutzverband von 1870 (KSV1870), twelve economic indicators are included in the assessment, allowing for an objective cross-industry comparison without a subjective jury decision.
The award recognises not only economic success but also sustainable growth and a solid financial foundation. At the gala in the Festspielhaus Bregenz, Marco Tittler, State Councillor for Economic Affairs, emphasised the international appeal of Vorarlberg as a business location and highlighted the achievements of those companies that set benchmarks through stability and innovative strength.
For Bachmann electronic, the award marks another highlight in a series of recent successes: the company was recently honoured with the Innovation Prize 2025 by the State of Vorarlberg and the Vorarlberg Chamber of Commerce for its new M100 controller system, as well as with the internationally renowned Red Dot Award last year. Both accolades underline the technological pioneering role of the Feldkirch-based company and its consistent focus on future-proof automation solutions.
