2nd Bachmann and HANSA Technology Symposium

Safe, Clean, Autonomous – The Future of Shipping

Autonomous, sustainable, and smart shipping is the focus of the 3rd Technology Symposium, hosted by Bachmann in collaboration with HANSA.

The event will once again take place at the International Maritime Museum Hamburg on April 10. During the one-day conference, experts will shed light on current trends in the maritime industry.

Among other topics, speakers will discuss artificial intelligence (AI) and its role in innovative maintenance concepts. AI also plays a crucial role in autonomous shipping. This topic, along with the associated challenges in cybersecurity, will be a key focus of the symposium.

Another major theme of the event is sustainability in shipping. Among others, experts will explore the use of alternative fuels and the electrification of ships.

The symposium will also provide ample opportunities for networking and professional exchange among participants, with numerous chances for discussion throughout the day. Those who wish to immerse themselves in the maritime topics of the future ahead of the 3rd Bachmann and HANSA Technology Symposium can do so at the joint get-together on the evening of April 9.
