For the first time, shipping company Norden has a Chief Operating Officer: Anne Heidi Jensen will strengthen the Danish company in the newly created position.
The management team now consists of CEO Jan Rindbo, CFO Martin Badsted and COO Anne Heidi Jensen. The changes will take effect immediately.
“I am very proud to join Norden ‘s executive management team,” said Jensen. “Since joining the company in January 2024, I have had the privilege of really getting to know Norden and my colleagues and experiencing first-hand the company’s continued growth potential. I am excited for what lies ahead.”
CEO Rindbo added: “With the addition of Anne to the Executive Management Team, we are strengthening our commercial, strategic and leadership capabilities and further driving Norden’s strategic direction and customer focus.”
CEO Klaus Nyborg concludes: “The appointment brings new competencies to the core of the company and ensures that we can drive and implement Norden’s further development and will thus play a key role in the company’s continued pursuit of excellence and growth.”
Norden has recently been active in the shipping market again, selling five vessels to free up new assets. In January, the company also added two MPP newbuildings to its fleet.
